It's off to work for J!
The across the street neighbor is paying him $1 a week to let his chickens out mid-morning during the work week. (He's been having a predation problem -- the foxes have been picking off his chickens in the early morning hours when he's been letting them out before he leaves for work.)
J is VERY proud of his new responsibility, and having an income. His first pay day was this past Saturday, and he joyfully collected his dollar and stuffed it in his piggy bank.
