Today Zoo Boy celebrated his birthday (with 14 of his closest kid friends and cousins -- The Boy just loves a big party....) at a local Spare Time bowling ally (GREAT chain, GREAT party, HIGHLY recommend it!!!!). In the tie-dyed shirt is our fabulously attentive attendant, whom I tried smuggling home with me in the trunk of my car. (She actually took notes about who gave which gift -- LOVED her!!!) Here she is having Zoo Boy's guests sign an actual bowling pin that he got to take home as a keepsake. Cute, no?!
So the kids bowled....(here Zoo Boy shows off his killer style....)
...and bowled.... (two hours worth of bowling, in fact!). Here's J winding up for a turn....
...and ate pizza...
...and blew out candles, and ate cake, and opened presents, and had an AMAZING time!!
We took up 3 lanes (plus a 4th for those adults who decided they wanted to bowl, basically my family who all like to play games as much as any kid does). We ate up 3 pizzas. We drank up 5 pitchers of drinks. We ate half a sheet cake (which I provided). We watched our wonderful attendant clean up after us, and hand out free passes to come back, and give Zoo Boy a gift certificate for a free meal at Texas Roadhouse.
Y'know, this bowling party thing? It might happen again.
