We've taken our Science Fridays co-op on the road for several weeks. Last Friday we went to Northwest Park in Windsor, CT, to enjoy the beautiful seasonal weather and outdoors in general. (Yesterday we went to the Springfield Science Museum to explore the exhibits and take in a wonderful seasonal planetarium show -- no photos from yesterday.)
Above, the boys enjoy the outside -- and inside -- of the Nature Center while awaiting the rest of our friends. Below, they explore along the pond, finding many fish and frogs.
Above, Zoo Boy was quite taken with the mule (and vice versa, she seems rather fond of him as well). Below, the boys all explore something in the grass outside the pasture. It was a GLORIOUS day!
