poem of the week -- The Bee

Ok, I'm ditching the "Tranquil Clip of the Week" -- it's eating up too much of my picture posting MB allowance on the blog. Since this is a long-term blog, I'd like to preserve my space as much as possible.

Instead, I'll offer a poem of the week -- we choose a poem to learn each week, using it for Zoo Boy's speech therapy work as well as just enjoying it it's own right. It's as nice and tranquil a thing to share on a weekly basis as any!

This weeks' poem:

The Bee
by Emily Dickinson

The Bee is not afraid of me.
I know the Butterfly.
The pretty people in the Woods
Receive me cordially --

The Brooks laugh louder when I come --
The Breezes madder play;
Wherefore mine eye thy silver mists,
Wherefore, Oh Summer's Day?
